I registered for the Nielson Home Scan last month and have been waiting to find out if I had been accepted. Today I received an e-mail saying that I have been accepted and I will be receiving my scanning equipment soon! YAY!
So, what is the Nielson Home Scan? Nielsen Home Scan is a Consumer Panel where Earn valuable points, which are redeemable for electronics, household items, jewelry, toy, gift cards, and more. You receive a scanner and you scan the barcodes of the items you purchase and then once a week you connect the scanner to the computer and send them the information. This is a valuable resource for companies to learn buying habits.
